don't be a dick
don't be an asshole. you're all adults, you know how RP goes, and we shouldn't have to hold your hand to tell you not to be a dick. this place is inclusive, meant to be a fun game, and we want everyone to enjoy it. if you have an issue with each other you can't resolve, come to us.

journals + bios
journals need to be out-of-character (ie: ~john is a nogo, but ~terra is fine), no underscores, unnecessary numbers or additional letters. you need to have a f/o post up that is locked to the community or you must have your comment settings set to friends only. we also have it in your friender to set all entries to friends only for when you post. for this community, we're looking for a bio, not just a few lines. we'r enot asking for a novel, just something that gives us a good grasp of your character.

activity checks
will be once a month. We're asking that people at least have one thread or two narratives along with at least two instances of public interaction in order to pass. Passes will be given out to people who participate in events.

pbs
have the usual RP rules. Since this is a supernatural time period game, don't sweat too hard about icons. Just don't show modern tech and do as best you can with what you have. If you want an actor from a certain time period there with icons, mods will happily make you some.

trigger warnings
are mandatory for the big main triggers, and need to be on bios and any other activity. Mods will allow it, but if you don't warn properly and visibly, you will get a warning.

capping
is in place here. Magical being are capped at a slot of twelve, and we'll stop taking in new players and characters at about the 3/4ths point. Players can have up to three characters in game and must disclose this information when they apply.

credits + game inspiration
table comes from ~peculiars and ~building. some of the game inspirations/vibes are from deadwood, salem witch trial media, the benders, apostle (2018)

dropping
if you want to drop a character, let us know. We'll ask what you want them to do or if they can configure it into the plot and do that. Keep in mind, once they're gone, they're gone, PB and all.

off-site apps
no wire/discord/hyperbeam, etc. journals only please. if anyone says they're on an app for this game, that's not us.

mod discretion
is such that you get two warnings, and then you're out. If you need help dealing with someone, come to the mods and we'll straighten it out for both parties involved. rejected apps are deleted, and if you want to speak to us, come to the modbox.

extras and wrap up
there will be extras at this game, such as bingo and writing challenges. so if you like writing, come on done. wrap-up will occur after the main plot is finished. It will give players an opportunity to tie up loose ends, show where characters are now, and just generally the end to a really nice party.
